My bestfriend Tanya gave me some random hand me downs when I was in town last weekend since Joe has been out of town soooooooooooooooooo often lately for work but anyway, I made room in the babies room closet and bought the cutest little tiny hangers. Here is a picture. AWW

One more step closer...
Exciting News...My parents bought our baby crib on Saturday. It is in a darker wood then this though, more like chocolate.
Joe is in New York right now for work and I have my 17 week appointment today. There is officially 2 more weeks until we find out the sex of the baby. We are so excited.
After my appointment I am going to buy the matching dresser that goes with the crib. And someone that called me from Craigslist is coming to pick up my work out TV right now. I need that stuff outta there to make room for baby furniture! YAY
Last night I "nested" (I dont think that is until later) but I cleared out my closet and made room for all my new maternity clothes. Thanks Becca, Tanya and Meaghan! I love all my friends with babies, it's great!

count down to boy/girl?
Hello again,
We had our 13 week appointment yesterday. Nothing to exciting except for we did get to hear the heartbeat again. Which is good because I still don't believe that there is anything inside me. It's funny, as soon as someone finds out I am pregnant they always ask the same question with pity, "Ohhh...how are you feeling?" I respond, "Great, couldn't be better!" Then they look at me like I am psycho. I get a kick out of it.
Some exciting news to look forward to...we get to find out the sex of the baby the day before Thanksgiving. We are very excited!!
And...I just took this quiz, thought I should share.
Congratulations!
You have a 36% chance of having a boy.
And you have a 63% chance of having a girl.
And Here's Why...
You are carrying the extra weight out front, so it's a boy.
The hair on your legs is not growing any faster during your preganacy, so it's a girl.
Girls are carried high. You are going to have a girl.
Sleeping in a bed with your pillow to the north indicates that you will be having a boy.
Your feet are not colder than they were before pregnancy. You are having a girl.
You refuse to eat the heel of a loaf of bread. You are having a girl.
Dad-to-be hasn't been gaining weight along with Mom-to-be, so it will be a girl.
The maternal grandmother doesn't have gray hair (dyed or natural), so a girl will be born.
You didn't have morning sickness early in pregnancy, so it will be a boy.
You are looking particularly good during pregnancy. Therefore, it must be a boy, because girls steal their mother's looks.
Your chest development has been quite dramatic during pregnancy. You should expect a girl.
Since the sum of the mother's age at conception and the number of the month of conception is an odd number, it will be a girl.
Your urine is a dull yellow color, so you will have a girl.
You are craving sweets, which means that it is a girl.
Your nose hasn't changed during pregnancy, which indicates a girl.
You have been craving fruits, so it is a girl.
Your baby's heart rate is 140 or more beats per minute, so it's a girl.
You have no desire for orange juice, so it's a boy.
You are not having headaches, so it's a girl.
Your belly looks like a basketball, so it's a boy.
You show the back of your hand, so it's a boy.
You use the handle, so it's a boy.
Anyways...it's funny what people come up with.
Love,
Jessica, Joe and baby Wellman

Belly Pics
Hey everyone,
Here are a few baby belly shots. My sister in law Barbie asked me if I was going to post belly shots and I was like, no way! But I guess afterall I am that kind of girl. I didn't think I was since I never show my belly other then in a bikini but I am having my first baby and that's special. My best friend Tanya that just had her first baby told me I have to take belly shots or else I'll regret it. So here they are...more to come, I guess.

Hello all,
I have not blogged lately because we have been busy! Busy with work, play and some other things that I won’t mention….
I am mainly writing to announce that Joe and I are pregnant! Here are the first pictures of our little baby.
I am 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant. We got to hear the heartbeat and see the little guy/girl moving around yesterday. It was pretty amazing!
I am feeling really great and have had no nausea. I think I am one of the lucky ones.

Jessica, Joe and Baby Wellman

FAMOUS
http://www.swxrightnow.com/global/video/popup/pop_playerLaunch.asp?vt1=v&clipFormat=flv&clipId1=3893770&at1=Sport&h1=Indians fall short in extra innings, lose to Yakima
Joe and I are famous! HA (only for a second) J Click on the video that says….INDIANS FALL SHORT IN EXTRA INNINGS, LOSE TO YAKIMA.
We are at second 23. (Aww the day we were married, if that is not meant to be then I don’t know what is) I know I am corny.
It’s really not that big of a deal but I thought it was funny.

Baby......Showers!
I flew to Seattle for a quick weekend trip for my friend Jessica's baby shower and my other friend Jessica's birthday party. Ahh so many Jessica's in the world! I also got to see my parents for a day so that was nice! Wish I could have stayed longer but had to get back to the daily grind in Spokane. Here are some pics from my quick trip!
My mom and me.
Mexico...err umm I mean Hawaii!
Well as some of you may know we were planning a trip to Mexico for vacation with our friends Danny and Michele. The dates were set, we had our passports, flights, hotel...everything until the Swine Flu hit! We were supposed to leave on May 2 and stay until the 10th in Mazatlan. We were watching the news closely and deciding what to do and 3 days before we were supposed to leave the government websites put out an alert to avoid non-essential travel. So we did, we changed our flights and destination. Hawaii was the new plan and everything couldn't have fallen into place any better then it did. It was meant to be! We actually got money back on our flights, our condo was amazing and a fantastic price. It was just absolutely perfect. We had a fantastic time and want to go back as soon as we can! We stayed in Princeville, Kauai.
MAN! It's been a while.
So I guess I have been busy because obviously I haven't blogged since Easter! I will try to update you a little.

Quick Trip Home
I always say...we are going home for this or for that but the truth is Olympia is not really our "home" anymore...Spokane is. But the people we love are in Olympia and that is what really matters.
Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Presidents Day
We decided to go snowboarding at Silver Mountain in Idaho on Presidents Day since I had it off. (It's nice to work at a bank.)
Here is a picture of Joe and I in the gondola on the ride up the hill. It's mainly to show my new sweet teal Burton pants.
This was the first time I have been snowboarding in Spokane ever. The last time we went was maybe before we were married. I think I am better now then I was before due to my impressive wake boarding skills. Although I hate the chairlift...it sucks, I am not good at that at all. But I think I made a good impression on Joe and my brother.
Talk to everyone later. I know I haven't blogged since the beginning of the New Year and I am trying to cram it all in, in one night but I think you should just take what you can get.
Love,
Jessica (& Joe)...(more Jessica)
Happy Valentines Day
We went to dinner at Clinkerdaggers in Spokane for Valentines Day. We had a tasty dinner complete with delicious dessert.
I couldn't remember how to spell dessert. Desert or dessert. I just remembered that Joe taught me a great way to always remember. Dessert is spelled with two S's not one because you always want more. YUM
Love,
Jessica & Joe
